RBI का बड़ा प्रस्ताव –
भारत के Reserve Bank of India (RBI) ने एक अहम strategic proposal पर काम शुरू किया है, जिसके तहत BRICS देशों की Digital Currencies (CBDC) को आपस में जोड़कर (interlinking framework) cross-border trade और international payments को ज्यादा तेज़, सस्ता और efficient बनाया जा सके। इस पहल का मुख्य उद्देश्य US Dollar पर अत्यधिक निर्भरता को धीरे-धीरे कम करना और emerging economies के बीच direct settlement mechanism को मजबूत करना है।
सूत्रों के अनुसार, इस system में India का Digital Rupee (e₹), China का e-Yuan और अन्य BRICS देशों की Central Bank Digital Currencies को एक common platform के जरिए इस्तेमाल किया जा सकता है। इससे trade transactions में बार-बार currency conversion, multiple banking layers और ज्यादा transaction cost जैसी समस्याएं कम होंगी। साथ ही settlement time भी काफी घट सकता है।
RBI और अन्य BRICS central banks इस proposal के technical feasibility, cyber security, data protection और regulatory coordination जैसे पहलुओं का गहराई से अध्ययन कर रहे हैं। फिलहाल यह योजना शुरुआती stage में है, लेकिन अगर इसे लागू किया जाता है तो यह global financial system में एक महत्वपूर्ण structural बदलाव माना जाएगा, खासकर developing देशों के लिए।
विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि इससे भारत के Digital Rupee को international level पर पहचान मिलेगी और भारत की strategic financial autonomy भी मजबूत होगी।
